Joy In The Lord

Psalms 5:11: But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. 35:9 And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation.

In the Lord is where joy is. Make no mistake about it. The Joy of the Lord is not found anywhere else. Anything outside of the Lord is at best an inferior imitation. There is no other joy like the joy of the Lord.

John 15:11: These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

Nehemiah 8:10: Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

Psalms 21:1: The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!

Psalms 63:5: My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips: 66:1 Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands: 67:4 O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Isaiah 49:13: Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted. 52:9 Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem. 61:10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels. 65:14 Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit. 56:7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

2 Corinthians 7:4: Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation.
